Where is SPRING?!

Can someone please tell me why I woke up to snow on April 16th? Is it just me or is this turning into the longest winter ever? I really think I'm on the verge of losing my mind. We get small glimmers of spring once a week or so which is just enough to get Emily obsessed with playing outside and then she doesn't understand why she can't play outside the next day. Not to mention that all my maternity clothes are summer clothes so I'm running out of options! Someone please stop this madness.
