We've had to keep these under wraps since they were Christmas gifts to grandparents etc but now we can share. You can't tell from these pictures but Emily was less than cooperative. The first time we went (yes, the FIRST time) she wouldn't stop screaming. The second time she wasn't exactly happy and cooperative but at least she wasn't screaming and they managed to get some decent pictures. We did discover that she is quite the diva and I'm glad I don't work there because it was exhausting! I think I should develop a TV show just showing what insane things people do to get kids to smile for pictures. I'm sure we looked like fools. It was worth it though!

I am terrible at this!
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!! I have determined that I am terrible at this blogging thing. Apparently it is difficult to do when you don't have the internet......I am going to post a bunch of pictures today (or maybe tomorrow, or the next day!) from Christmas etc so check back soon! :)

Finally!
As of Friday, our house in Tooele is officially done. It has been such a long and difficult road and we're so happy to at least have this phase of it complete. Our loan officer asked if we would ever build a house again......yeah, definitely not! At least not ourselves. Thanks to everyone who has helped us get through the last two years. We're so grateful for the support and encouraging words from everyone. And we're especially grateful to our friends and family who sacrificed their time, etc to help us. We couldn't have survived without it. Thank you thank you thank you!!

The joys of parenthood
So last night I was giving Emily a bath. She absolutely LOVES bath time. She was splashing all over as usual and I was splashing her on the back. She leaned over and sat there and I thought she wanted me to keep splashing her. I all of sudden realized what was happening.
THIS!

Yes, that is poop. (Sorry if you're eating) She pooped in the tub. Frankly, I'm surprised it took this long for it to happen. We thought it was pretty hilarious. Now that I think about it though, I wonder why I took a picture. Ah, the joys of parenthood....

Catch up!
I have finally added pics....a few at least. :)
The main one is from Thanksgiving. I was quite impressed with it because Emily actually has her eyes open. Its rare, trust me.
I know that the BYU - Utah game was two weeks ago but since Utah won we get to talk about it all year right? We were lucky enough to go to the game and it was a blast. It was freezing and I don't think we sat down the entire time but that's what this game is all about! Here's some pics....
Before the game.

Thanksgiving
Happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone! Hope you had an enjoyable holiday. Ours was nothing too special but it sure was nice to have a 4 day weekend. Can we get that more often? Unfortunately Robert only got Thursday off. Anyway, I just wanted to say how grateful we are for everyone and everything we are blessed with. We have had somewhat of a difficult year and couldn't have gotten through it without all the love, support, and help from family and friends. I am so grateful for my amazing husband and daughter. They are everything to me and I have been blessed with great ones! I think we've been guilty this year of complaining too much and not showing enough gratitude to our Heavenly Father for all the things He has blessed us with. We have jobs (not great ones but jobs none the less), a place to live (two actually!), and food to eat. We've never gone without. We truly are blessed.

Gotta love it

As everyone within ear shot of the state of Utah knows, its rivalry week baby! Of course we're HUGE Utah fans and are getting pumped for the game. Robert is very confident and I think since he's not working with my dad and Derek anymore he's not nearly as worked up about the whole rivalry thing this year. I on the other hand, am going to have an anxiety attack.
Go Utes!!
